Tasting notes
Peculiarity
The cradle of one of Alto Adige’s most iconic Pinot Noirs. In 1987, it becomes the region’s first officially designated “Vigna” single-vineyard wine. The site unfolds across two parcels: one planted in 1962 and trained on pergola, the other converted to Guyot in 1992. The sedimentary layers of the Werfen Formation – unique in Alto Adige’s viticulture – and noble clay enrich the soil with natural fertility. The northwest-facing rows benefit from the summer “Ora” wind from Lake Garda, which keeps the grapes dry and healthy.
